TrueBase

Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrueBase ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TrueBase provides community-funded access to Trinity-Large-TrueBase, an open-source large language model. The Service operates on a donation-based "runway" system where compute time is collectively funded by users.

3. Donations and Payments

All donations are processed through Stripe. Donations are non-refundable and go directly toward compute costs. We make no guarantees about service availability. The Service may be offline when runway is exhausted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service
  • Use automated systems to excessively consume compute resources
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service

5. Model Output

Trinity-Large-TrueBase is a base model with no instruction tuning or safety filters. The model generates text based on statistical patterns and may produce outputs that are inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for how you use any generated content.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. Use at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Users who violate these terms may be permanently banned.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
